I received a belly cast as a gift and I loved it!  At first it seemed daunting to have a mold of yourself at your biggest, but I definitely have no regrets.  It’s a great way to preserve that wonderful time between you and your baby.  You’ll always have that memory.  The process of making the belly cast is very private.  You are covered the whole time.  I decorated my own belly cast, and Heike helped me brainstorm for ideas.  It’s great that you have the option to have it decorated because Heike is a wonderful artist!  The quality of the belly cast is great.  Heike goes through several processes to make it sturdy and smooth.  My belly cast hangs in my baby’s room and my baby and I have a tradition before we leave her room to touch the belly cast and smile!  She loves it.  A belly cast is a great investment for yourself and for others as a gift.  It is definitely something I will do for future pregnancies.

My husband and I are extremely happy with the outcome of the whole Belly Casting experience.  Heike is such a joy to be around.  She has great energy and I felt very comfortable with her.  She did an amazing job with the decorative aspect and was willing to create a personal design just for us.  Now that our daughter is here and I'm going back to pre pregnancy size it astounds me when I look up at the wall and see how big my belly really was.  We are very pleased that we have a lasting memory.  J.M.
